Hungary are the new champions of Europe. In the Men's 20 EHF EURO 2026, they won in overtime against Sweden with a 34:32 and wrote their name in the history books
Hungary ended the 32-year M20 medal wait and won their maiden Men's 20 EHF EURO title against Sweden in overtime. In a performance very different from their meeting in the main round of the competition, they made sure that Sweden, the only unbeaten team until the final, would end their tournament in defeat.
