The final race to the Men's EHF EURO 2026 began on Wednesday, as the qualifiers threw off with nine round 1 matches. The opening two games of the EHF EURO Cup 2026 also took place on Wednesday. 

Round 1 of the qualifiers will wrap up on Thursday, with seven games on the schedule, including the Highlight Match, Portugal vs Romania. 

The EURO will be played in Denmark, Norway and Sweden from 15 January to 1 February, 2026, with 24 teams in the running for the trophy.
