The Danish league is widely considered to be one of the most balanced — if not the most balanced — in Europe, with the participating teams finding the right mix between attracting some of the biggest stars in the world as well as nurturing young talent.
The Denmark women’s national team have been fantastic over the past years, winning the silver medal at the EHF EURO 2022 and the bronze at the last two World Championships as well as the 2024 Olympics. And the core of the national side grew in the domestic league, before moving to pastures new.
