OFFICIAL STATEMENT: Decision reached on a case opened against Serbian referee pairing, Aleksander Pandzic and Ivan Mosorinski

The EHF Court of Handball has reached its decision on a case opened against the Serbian referee couple, Aleksander Pandzic and Ivan Mosorinski.

The EHF had been carrying out investigations regarding violations of the EHF Statutes and regulations. Both referees were invited to a hearing in Vienna but decided not to participate.

Due to the failure to support the investigation proceedings and to contribute in a due way, the EHF Court of Handball imposed a fine of €2000 on each referee.

Furthermore, legal proceedings against the referees were opened concerning a lack of integrity and betting irregularities.

On 26 August 2024, the EHF Court of Handball decided that the proceedings are set aside and that no consequences are awarded to Aleksander Pandzic and Ivan Mosorinski.
