The Men’s 20 EHF EURO 2024 throws off in Slovenia on Wednesday 10 July, and the competition is set to be bigger than ever on all levels.

For the first time, the tournament will feature 24 teams and will be played across 12 days, culminating in the final on 21 July.

Matches will be streamed live on the EHF’s on-demand platform, EHFTV, and the tournament will additionally be shown by broadcasters in 10 regions across Europe.

Handball fans will be able to follow the event live in Germany on the free-TV channel, Eurosport 1, and in Hungary and Czechia on the TV channel Sport 1. Streaming platform SOLID SPORT has acquired the rights to all matches for the M20 EHF EURO 2024 in  Austria, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland and will offer extensive coverage of the event.

This is the first of the EHF’s major youth events to be professionally produced for television and streaming platforms by the federation as part of its efforts to further enhance and position these competitions on the international sports market.

The M18 EHF EURO in Montenegro (14-25 August 2024) will also be produced for television as will both men’s and women’s youth events in the future.

There will also be extensive online coverage on the official EHF EURO Instagram, X  and Facebook pages and on the official EHF Younger Age Categories website.

Full details of how to follow the competition can be found here.

Hosts Slovenia are hoping to replicate their 2018 success, when they won the title at home. However, Spain enter as defending champions not only at the M20 EHF EURO but also the M18 EHF EURO 2022, with the this generation of players now stepping up to the M20 age category in a bid to win once more.
