GROUP I REVIEW: A 26:24 win against Austria secured Iceland a top-10 position at the EHF EURO 2024

A battle between two goalkeepers, Constantin Möstl and Viktor Hallgrímsson, eventually helped Iceland finish the Men's EHF EURO 2024 on a high, taking a 26:24 win over Austria, as Ales Pajovic’s side lost their second match in a row.

Austria are now out of contention both for the semi-finals and the 5/6 placement match - whatever the outcome of the remaining two games in the group.
