The weekend was reserved for the Round 2 of the Group Phase of the EHF Champions League Women. We've had five matches on Saturday, and then three more on Sunday!

• on Saturday, Györ celebrated a convincing 35:23 win over DVSC, and Odense took an even bigger win (39:24) over Buducnost
• in our MOTW, Brest Bretagne celebrated on the road against Sävehof (20:25), while Rapid took a hard-fought victory over Lublin (26:25)
• in a rematch of last season's EHF CLW final, Vipers defeated FTC 37:26
• on Sunday, Bietigheim defeated CSM (26:24), and Krim celebrated a home win over Esbjerg (33:27)
• in the final match of the round, Metz hosted Ikast with the Danish team taking a hard-fought 35:39 win
