After playing the 2021 final against Vipers Kristiansand, Brest Bretagne Handball went through a tough EHF Champions League Women 2021/22 campaign. Going out in the quarter-finals and not winning a single trophy on the domestic stage made the French side fall short of their pre-season objectives.
