VELUX EHF Champions League coverage hits new heights

This season’s VELUX EHF Champions League promises to be the most-covered in the history of club level handball with 42 TV partners already confirmed to broadcast action to fans around the world in 2019/20.

Fans in more than 80 territories will now be able to tune in and watch the highest level of club handball over next nine months, further highlighting the huge demand for VELUX EHF Champions League coverage.

The successful 2018/19 season confirmed the trend of a year-on-year increase in the number of TV channels dedicating coverage of the competition, and especially a higher reach of live TV signal around the world.

The eagerly anticipated start to VELUX EHF Champions League 2019/20 got under way on Wednesday evening with the Scandinavian derby between Finland’s Cocks and IK Sävehof of Sweden and continues on Thursday when Kadetten Schaffhausen (SUI) host Dinamo Bucuresti (ROU).

The competition will also be available worldwide on ehfTV.com, where all fans will have the option to watch every match of the 2019/20 season (Geo-restrictions apply).
