EHF Mounthands brings together four youth teams for unique event in Arosa

Labelled ‘EHF Mounthands’, the under-17 teams (age group 2003/04) of PGE Vive Kielce, Orlen Wisla Plock, Pfadi Winterthur and HC Kriens-Luzern/SG Pilatus will take part in the 4-day event, which has been set up by EHF Marketing GmbH and Nord Stream 2, premium partner of the VELUX EHF Championship League, with the support of the Arosa Tourist Office and the Swiss Handball Association.

In attendance of former handball greats like Marcin Wichary (Plock) and Radoslaw Wasiak (Kielce), the four teams will compete against each other on the handball court but also enjoy training sessions and a morning of team building in the Arosa Bear Sunctuary with ChippinGolf as well as a visit to the Arosa Rope Park.

Also attending will be Markus Floth, widely known as one of the faces of the VELUX EHF Champions League, to bring some real Champions League flair to Arosa, which can be followed through the various ehfCL social media channels.

The semi-finals of the tournament will be played on Friday afternoon, the third-place match as well as the final on Saturday afternoon. All matches are led by referees from the Swiss Handball Association’s programme for young and talented referees, and will be streamed live on ehfTV.com and sporttotal.tv through an automated 180-degree HD camera from Sporttotal.

There is an outdoor playing court available and as long as weather conditions permit, all activities will take place in the open air.
