Balkan derby in the spotlight for Match of the Week

The Balkan derby between HC PPD Zagreb and HC Vardar has been confirmed as Match of the Week for the first leg of the VELUX EHF Champions League Last 16.

Macedonian side HC Vardar finished third in Group A and will be favourites coming into the two-legged affair, but Zagreb have a history of rising to the occasion when Match of the Week rolls into town.

Arena Zagreb is the venue for the clash on Saturday 23 March at 20:30 local time, streamed live on ehfTV.com with English commentary from Tom O’Brannagain.
