Due to ongoing political protests in France and planned demonstrations close to the Hall XXL in Nantes on Saturday, 8 December 2018, the Group I Main Round matches of the Women’s EHF EURO 2018 Group have been rescheduled

EHF EURO matches rescheduled

The European Handball Federation, in close cooperation with the Organising Committee of the Women’s EHF EURO 2018, has been required to reschedule the matches of the second day of the Main Round Group I.

The EHF and OC are in permanent contact with local and national authorities to manage the situation.

Due to planned demonstrations there will be no access to the playing arena on Saturday, 8 December 2018.

The match scheduled for Saturday will be moved to Sunday, 9 December 2018, throw-off times remain the same.

The new schedule is as follows:

Sunday, 9 December 2018

Sweden versus France (15:00 hrs)
Serbia versus Russia (18:00 hrs)

All tickets purchased for the two matches on Saturday, 8 December 2019 will be valid for matches on Sunday, 9 December 2018.

Ticket holders will also be informed of this change directly by the EHF EURO 2018 Organising Committee.

TV partners, suppliers and event service providers have also been informed of the necessary change in the scheduling.

The EHF and the EHF EURO 2018 Organising Committee apologise for any inconvenience this decision may cause.
