EHF EURO 2018 media accreditation deadline extended

Media representatives have additional time to apply for an accreditation to the Women’s EHF EURO 2018.

Applications can be made via the EHF's dedicated online accreditation system until Friday, 2 November 2018. Email requests will not be processed.

TV, web TV and radio representatives should contact the EHF's media and marketing partner for the EHF EURO events, Infront, in order to reach an agreement on the relevant rights before applying.

Security screening

Media representatives are advised that all requests for an accreduation approved by the EHF and Infront are subject to a mandatory security check by the police authorities in France.

These checks can take a minimum of 48 hours to complete and there may be delays in media representatives receiving confirmations.

Media representatives are advised to apply early for an accreditation.

Media hotels

The Women's EHF EURO 2018 Organising Committee has negotiated special terms with media hotels in each venue. Deadline for bookings is 31 October.

Availability is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Arrival venue

Media representatives can collect their accreditation only from the venue they select when applying for an accreditation.

Accreditations for preliminary and main round venues cannot be collected in Paris. The accreditation office in Paris will be open from 12 December and is only for the collection of final weekend accreditations.

Criteria for applications

The EHF applies a strict criteria for the issuing of accreditations and will only accept requests from professional media representatives working at the event for a recognised media outlet.

A valid press card or AIPS card will be required. Media representatives, in particular freelancers, may be asked to provide additional evidence of previous work/coverage.
