EHF CONGRESS 2018: Scotland will welcome representatives from Europe’s national federations from 18-20 June for the 14th Ordinary EHF Congress
Member federations to gather in Glasgow for EHF Congress
The eyes of the handball world will be on Glasgow, Scotland from 18 to 20 June as the Scottish Handball Association hosts the 14th Ordinary EHF Congress.
All 50 member federations and the two associated federations, England and Scotland, will be represented at the first EHF Congress to be organised in the UK.
The Congress will deal with a number of motions from the EHF and member federations and vote on the host nations for the Men’s and Women’s EHF EURO events in 2022 and 2024.
Ahead of the start of the Congress, alongside meetings of the EHF commissions, the EHF Executive Committee will also meet and will decide on the teams participating in the VELUX EHF Champions League and Women’s EHF Champions League in the 2018/19 season.

There is currently no bid for the Women’s EHF EURO 2024 event.
Important note: The awarding of the EHF EURO 2022/2024 events is expected to take place during the morning session on Wednesday, 20 June 2018. However, as this is one of the final topics on the agenda, it is possible that the awarding may run into the afternoon session.
Media access
Any media representatives wanting to cover the event in Glasgow in person must send a request for an accreditation in advance of the Congress to the EHF Media and Communications Department by email media@eurohandball.com. Access will be granted for the opening of the Congress and the EHF EURO 2022/24 presentations/voting and awarding.
