European Beach Handball Tour continues in Germany and Spain
While the ebt Finals are played in Stare Jablonki this weekend, dozens of other beach handball teams are already on the hunt for valuable ebt points, as three tournaments take place this weekend.
Germany is a beach handball hot spot in this respect, with the Karacho Beach Cup being played in Münster (near Frankfurt) from Friday to Sunday. Also on the weekend, the Aldner Beach Days 2018 are played on Saturday and Sunday in Altenheim.
Live streaming of the Karacho Beach Cup is available on Youtube.
In Spain, the city of Utrera hosts an "Arena 500" tournament which is part of the ebt as well as of Spain's national Arena Handball Tour.
#dontworrybeachhappy campaign launched
Not only for the ebt Finals, but for all beach handball tournaments, the EHF has launched the #dontworrybeachhappy campaign.
#dontworrybeachhappy offers a plethora of activation, engagement and participation possibilities for players and fans alike on a weekly basis. Prizes will be awarded to weekly and monthly winners, with the final grand prize being a free trip to the EHF Champions Cup in October.
Weekly prizes include a beach towel, provided by the EHF's sports outfitter Salming, while the monthly winners can look forward to a full 'Salming beach pack', which includes a backpack, shirt, sunglasses, and much more.
The campaign runs exclusively on the EHF's beach handball accounts on Facebook and Instagram.
The first challenge is 'Share your best beach handball selfie' and the entry period runs from 30 May (21:00 CET) to 10 June.
Don't forget to hashtag your selfie with #dontworrybeachhappy when entering.
