Handball fans will be able to win exclusive prizes on a daily basis through the app’s prize giveaway features beginning with the event’s draw on 2 May 2018.

New level of fan engagement

The VELUX EHF FINAL4 app is a definite must-have for those lucky enough to be travelling to Cologne to watch the VELUX EHF FINAL4.

Fans will be able to play their own part in the entertainment programme in the LANXESS arena via the app and their mobile phone.

A new ‘light-show’ feature using a unique data-via-audio solution will enable spectators to literally become part of the opening shows ahead of each match. Goosebumps guaranteed!

Vote for your player of the match

A unique feature of the app is the also chance for fans both in the arena and at home to vote for the ‘player of the match’.

Beginning at the start of the second half of each of the four matches, fans will be able to begin voting and compare their opinion with fans around the globe.

This fan-based vote will determine the ‘player of the match’ with an award to be made after each match.

Fans in focus

Commenting on the launch, Lisa Wiederer, project leader of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 at EHF Marketing GmbH, said: “The VELUX EHF FINAL4 app presents a new and exciting opportunity to communicate with fans.
