All to play for in Match of the Week between Montpellier and Flensburg

Heading into the quarter-final second leg, there is no match as finely balanced the one between Montpellier HB and SG Flensburg-Handewitt. Nothing could separate them in a 28:28 first leg draw and their clash on 29 April has been chosen as Match of the Week.

Tom O’Brannagain will be on hand to commentate on what promises to be a thrilling 60-minute battle for a place in the VELUX EHF FINAL4 at the 9,000 capacity Sud de France Arena.

The first leg in nothern Germany saw both sides trade narrow leads throughout, with Montpellier notably turning a two-goal half-time deficit into a three-goal lead during the second half. And although they did not get the win, Montpellier will be confident heading into the second leg with home advantage as they aim to earn their very first trip to Cologne’s LANXESS arena.

2014 champions Flensburg have narrowly missed out on returning to the VELUX EHF FINAL4 in recent years, but they know exactly what it takes to go all the way in this competition.

Enjoy all four second leg matches, including Match of the Week on 29 April at 19:00 CEST, on ehfTV.com.
