Live on Instagram: Ljubo talks Hungary; Kavticnik about Slovenia ahead of EHF EURO

The series of live interviews on the EHF EURO Instagram channel ahead of the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 in Croatia continues this week, with Slovenia right back Vid Kavticnik and Hungary coach Ljubomir Vranjes already confirmed guests.

32-year-old Kavticnik will join ehfTV commentator Chris O’Reilly on Wednesday morning at 10:00 hrs, while the interview with Hungary coach Ljubomir Vranjes is scheduled for 19:30 hrs on Thursday.

Make sure you follow the EHF EURO Instagram account to not miss your chance to listen in to these two handball greats.

Kavticnik was already part of the Slovenian squad that won silver at the EHF EURO 2004 and he added a bronze to his tally at the World Championship 2017 in France.

Slovenia face defending champions Germany as well as Montenegro and FYR Macedonia in group C at the EHF EURO.

For Ljubomir Vranjes it is the first EHF EURO as a coach. The former Swedish international coached Serbia on an interim basis for a short time in the lead-up to the EHF EURO 2014, but never sat on the bench at a final tournament before. He took over the Hungarian national team this summer.

As a player, he won the World Championship 1999 as well as the EHF EUROs in 1998, 2000 and 2002 with Sweden. At the 2000 Olympic Games he was part of the squad that took silver.

The Vranjes interview is not the only ‘EHF EURO present’ we have in stock for you in this pre-Christmas week.

To celebrate ‘Throwback Thursday’ we bring you the final of the EHF EURO 2014 live on Facebook and Youtube at 15:00 hrs CET.

Remember the impressive performance of France to beat Denmark at their ‘home’ EHF EURO?

Sit back, relax and enjoy a fantastic game of handball.
