Fighting for the last group phase ticket

Saturday afternoon, FH Hafnarfjordur and TATRAN Presov are meeting for the second leg of their postponed tie in the last qualification round of the Men's EHF Cup.

The winner will go to Group A and phase SKA Minsk from Belarus, Bjerringbro-Silkeborg from Denmark as German SC Magdeburg.

Presov have a small edge before their trip to Iceland, as the Slovakian side won the first leg 24:21 at home.

Still, Presov´s Ukrainian goalkeeper Igor Chupryna is warning his teammates.

“They are aggressive and eager for combat.

“Their style is certainly not easy to play against,” Chupryna stated, while Hafnarfjordur's coach sees room for improvement in his team´s attacking play.

“In Presov, we made too many mistakes in the attack, and we need to be better and nearly all aspects of our attacking play.

“I hope our defence can do as well or even better than in Presov,” head coach Halldór Jóhann Sigfusson tells eurohandball.com.
