Pots revealed for the Challenge Cup Last 16 draw

Only two days after the Round 3 conclusion in the Men’s Challenge Cup the last 16 teams in the competition will learn names of their new hurdles as the draw will be carried out at the EHF Office in Vienna on Tuesday 28 November at 11:00 hrs local time.

The teams have been divided to two pots based on the competition's ranking system and there will be no country protection at the draw which means that two teams from Luxembourg (HC Berchem in Pot 1 and Red Boys Differdange in Pot 2) can meet each other in the next stage.

The reigning Challenge Cup winners Sporting CP are playing in the VELUX EHF Champions League this season, while the last season's runners-up Potaissa Turda from Romania will be drawn from Pot 1.

The draw will be streamed live on EHF’s Facebook page and ehfTV youtube channel and there will be also a live ticker on www.eurohandball.com together with the live coverage on @ehf_live Twitter.

First leg matches of the Last 16 will be played 10-11 February 2018, the reverse fixtures will follow one week later.
