Court of Handball fines Serbian Handball Federation

Disciplinary proceedings were opened by the Court of Handball following the Men’s EHF EURO 2018 qualifier between Serbia and Poland on 14 June 2017.

During the match, two interruptions took place because of the lighting of pyrotechnics and the throwing of items on one referee by some home spectators.

The Court of Handball has decided to impose a €5,000 fine on the Serbian Handball Federation for the improper and dangerous behaviour of its supporters and for not having ensured security and good order at all time during the match.

An appeal may be filed with the Court of Appeal within seven days.
