Palmarsson the leading light among late entries
Seven players have been added to four VELUX EHF Champions League clubs in time for Round 6.
FC Barcelona Lassa have bolstered their squad the most, adding four players, including Aron Palmarsson in one of the biggest transfers of 2017.
Palmarsson’s move from Veszprém was confirmed last week and he is set to make his debut in the blaugrana shirt at home against Zagreb on 4 November.
18-year-old Romanian Iosif Andrei Buzle and Spanish duo Jorge Perez Molina (17) and Pere Vaquer Grimalt (24) have also been added to the Catalan club’s roster.
HBC Nantes signed left back Guillaume Saurina from CSM Bucuresti to cover for the injury of Olivier Nyokas.
The 36-year-old Frenchman is the second-best scorer in French league history with 1,224 goals and last played in Europe’s top flight in 2010/11 with Chambery.
The youngest addition is Marko Kizic, a 16-year-old Macedonian player who has joined defending champions HC Vardar. Meanwhile, former Vardar player Filip Lazarov will add his wealth of experience to Group D contenders Besiktas Mogaz HT.
