WOMEN’S CHALLENGE CUP, ROUND 2
ZJRK Bor RBT (SRB) vs WHC Krivaja Zavidovici (BIH) 30:19 (18:9)
Bor win 69:44 on aggregate
Bor are playing in Europe for the first time in the history of the club. So far, they are enjoying their European journey to the fullest, having reached Round 3 of the Challenge Cup.
There was never much doubt about the side from Serbia proceeding to the next round ahead of Saturday’s match in the Ustanova Sportsi Centar. Bor had won the first leg away against Zavidovici as big as 39:25, making their home game close to a formality.
Still, the hosts did not hold back and were already leading by nine goals at half-time.
In the second half, they further stretched their lead to 11 at the end of the match. Zoe Petrovic scored six goals for Bor, while Dragana Boro and Dragana Kukic each netted five times for the visitors.
In the next round, Bor will be up against Alavarium/Love Tiles from Portugal, who will have the home advantage in the first match to be played on 11 or 12 November.
