Three teams already in the next round

Three teams have already made the cut to Round 3 of the Men's Challenge Cup after this weekend.

In fact, one team was already sure to proceed before the games even started, as Montenegrin RK Mojkovac 2005 had won without playing against Tasova Yibo SC from Turkey. This gave Mojkova and overall 20:0 win.

ORK Samot 65 made no doubt in their double-header at home against Cambridge HC.

The Serbian hosts won the first match 43:21, which meant that they could take things a bit easier in the second match which they won 29:24.

Things were not that clear after the first leg of another double-header.

On home ground in Luxembourg, Handball Kaerjeng won 32:30 against European debutants HC Shakhtar-SHWSM.

In the second match, however, Kaerjeng left no doubt but won as clearly as 37:28 and booked the ticket to the next round.

That ticket is virtually in the pocket of RK Konjuh Zivinice already.

The Bosnian team won the first leg at home against Proodeftikos Paphos as big as 39:15, leaving the return match in Cyprus Saturday to looking like a formality.

AC PAOK are also extremely close to the next round after the Greek side won 34:17 in Malta against Aloysians Von Taine, while Red Boys Differdange also have a good chance to proceed after winning 32:26 at home over Kauno Azuloas-KTU Kaunas from Lithuania.

Scoring no less than 14 goals, Bosnian centre back Senjin Kratovic did his best to bring the Luxembourg team as close to the next round as possible.

Dynamo-Victor also stand with a great chance to reach the next round.

On away ground in Lithuania, the Russian team from Stavropol won the first leg against VHC Sviesa Vilnius 25:24.
