Andreas Wolff among seven players to join Kielce

A year ago they won their maiden VELUX EHF Champions League title. On Monday PGE VIVE Kielce made no secret of their ambition to lift the coveted trophy again in years to come.

The Polish side announced the signings of seven new players, who are set to join the club in the upcoming seasons.

Most notable newcomer is German national team goalkeeper Andreas Wolff, who will move to Poland as soon as his contract with his current club, THW Kiel, has expired in 2019. Wolff has signed a four-year deal that will then keep him at Kielce until 2023.

Wolff and Kiel are sharing the same group with Kielce in this season's group phase. Their first meeting took place in Poland last month and ended in a huge 32:21 win for the hosts.

Already next season, centre back Luka Cindric from current Champions League title holders HC Vardar will come to Kielce on a three-year contract.

Also in 2018, Serbian goalkeeper Vladimir Cupara (currently playing for Leon), young Polish right wing Arkadiusz Moryto (Lubin), Spanish left wing Angel Fernandez Perez (La Rioja) and Belarusian line player Artsem Karalek (Saint-Raphael Var Handball) will join Kielce.

Another long-term signing by the Polish club is French line player Nicolas Tournat. The HBC Nantes player will make his debut for Kielce in 2020.

Apart from the many newcomers, Kielce have also confirmed contract extensions with coach Talant Dujshebaev (until 2023), line player Julen Aguinagalde (2019) and centre back Dean Bombac (2022).
