10 nations represented at Salgo Cup

Five European Beach Tour 2017 competitions will be held this weekend in five different countries, with the VIII. Salgo Cup in Hungary and the Taca Regional do Porto in Portugal the first to begin on Thursday.

Salgo Cup will feature 15 women’s teams and 18 men’s, with a total of 10 countries to be represented including Croatia, Germany, Slovakia, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Poland, Netherlands and Hungary. There will also be a youth tournament for age groups Under 12 and Under 14. Matches will be live streamed here.

Friday sees the continuation of the Arena 1000 in Spain, with this weekend’s event taking place in Valencia. 105 teams are registered for the competition with 50 in the senior category, including local sides and a squad from France. The Arena 1000 will be held at Valencia’s popular Playa de la Victoria, with many spectators anticipated.

On Saturday, the Kikinda Open 2017 in Serbia begins, while the HELLUS Beach Handball Tour 2017 Phase 2 takes place in Estonia.
