PREVIEW: A weekend of five European Beach Tour 2017 competitions sees the PGNiG Summer Superliga continue as Croatia host their third tournament of the season.
 

First ebt 2017 events in Spain and Czech Republic

The European Beach Tour 2017 continues with five competitions to be held in Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany and Spain beginning this Friday and Saturday.

In Poland, the third edition of the newly-introduced PGNiG Summer Superliga will be held in Jablonki from Friday to Sunday, with eight teams competing in both the men’s and women’s category. Alongside the Polish sides will be both the men’s and women’s Netherlands national sides, the Netherlands U17 national team (women) and Sweden’s national men’s squad.

Also running from Friday to Sunday is Croatia’s third ebt event of the season, the Ivanic Open 2017. The Ivanic Open features 16 teams with nine in the men’s competition and seven in the women’s, all of which are Croatian. In addition, the Croatian national beach handball teams – both junior and senior, male and female – will take to the sand for friendly matches.

All Ivanic Open matches will be streamed live, and fans can follow the event on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the official Beach Handball Croatia website.

Following the first ebt 2017 event, the Beach Cup Flittard, the season continues in Germany with the HVB Beachhandball Open in Berlin, while Spain’s first competition of the season takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

III Torneo Balonmano Playa Basauri Arena 500 will see 17 men’s teams fighting for the trophy, and six in the women’s tournament, all of which are from Spain. Fans can follow the event on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the official website.

Czech Republic also host their first ebt 2017 event on Saturday and Sunday, with the Prague Open Beach Handball featuring both men’s and women’s teams. Fans can follow the Prague Open on Facebook.
