Fresh look for EHF FINAL4 website

There is a new look for the official website of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 and TIPPMIX EHF FINAL4 following its re-launch at the semi-final draw of the men’s event in Cologne on 2 May.

With a new interface and mobile-ready, responsive design, the redesigned ehfFINAL4.com website is the first element of a roll-out that will see a transformation of the EHF’s online presence.

Over the past few years the EHF has invested heavily in the development of its digital channels and the production of extensive content especially for social media. The results have been impressive with a reach of well over 380 million across the EHF’s digital platforms.

The next stage in this strategy is the roll-out of the ‘Home of Handball’ concept, a digital platform, where visitors will be able to find all of the information, news and statistics at the click of a button or swipe of their touchscreen from across European handball.

“The EHF and all its activities need a 'Home of Handball'. For a number of years we have different homepages for fans and specialists and now we want to gather all the people who are interested in European handball on one page,” said EHF President Michael Wiederer

David Szlezak, EHF Marketing Managing Director: "Fans will now get an up-to date website by entering ehfFINAL4.com. The page is the first step to introduce our new design, our new look and feel of the “Home of Handball”. During the FINAL4 events we will improve and evaluate the page to take the next step by including ehfCL.com into the 'Home of Handball'."

A new channel structure and colour coding system will allow for easy navigation and an intuitive interface will enable users to discover relevant content easily as well as share on their own profiles.

Additional cross-channel pages will offer fans a huge amount of extra information including news, statistics and a dedicated match centre with live content that can be accessed via second screens.

The next stages of the ‘Home of Handball’ project are already under development with the aim of creating the ultimate destination for handball fans looking for the latest up-to-the-minute results, news, features and live content.

The ehfFINAL4.com website will be providing 24/7 coverage of both the TIPPMIX FINAL4 to be played on 6/7 May and the VELUX EHF FINAL4 on 3/4 June alongside the official website of the EHF Champions League and social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat.
