Group distribution confirmed for ebt Finals 2017
The 20 teams participating at the ebt Finals in Gaeta (26 to 28 May) got to know their respective preliminary round opponents as the group distribution for the beach handball season kick-off event has been confirmed.
Defending men's champions G.A.S. Kilkis Akropolis face CBMP Ciudad de Málaga (ESP), TSHV Camelot (NED), BHT Auto Forum Petra Plock (POL) and Os Gordos/Labminho - Clube Naval de Leça (POR) in Group A.
Defending women's champions, Multichem Szentendrei from Hungary, have also been seeded in Group A. They face WBHC Kontesa Nera (CRO), Club Balonmano Playa Algeciras (ESP), SPORT CLUB Senec - Cannabis Energy Drink (SVK) and A.C. Spartacus Goalbet.
In Group B of the men's event Salgótarjáni Strandépítok BHC from Hungary face multiple winners Detono Zagreb (CRO), Russia "Ekaterinodar" (RUS), BHC Beach & Da Gang Münster (GER) and CUS Cassion (ITA).
In Group B of the women's event Westsite Amsterday (NED) play OVB Beach Girls (HUN), KS Red Hot Czili Buk (POL), Beachqueens (SUI) and Figh Futura Roma (ITA).
Following the preliminary round, the first two teams of each group in the men's and the women's event reach the semi-finals.
