Group A

Füchse Berlin (GER) vs GOG (DEN) 37:29 (17:12)

Both teams entered this game having won their first two matches of the EHF Cup Group Phase, but it would be Füchse Berlin's perfect record that would remain intact once this clash was over.

The German side dominated the game almost from the throw off, as they led 9:3 and 17:7 before going into half-time with a comfortable five-goal lead.

It could have been worse for the Danish visitors - they scored six consecutive goals between the 26th and 31st minute to keep the score respectable, and they even managed to reduce the deficit to three goals at 18:15 and 19:16.

Yet Füchse got 10 goals ahead again at 33:23, and for the rest of the match there was no doubt that the home team would take the points.

Norwegian right back Kent Robin Tønnesen scored nine goals for Füchse. Danish right wing Hans Lindberg enjoyed facing his former club, scoring seven goals from seven attempts to repeat his perfect scoring performance last week in the German Bundesliga. Another right wing, Mark Strandgaard Petersen, top-scored for GOG with eight goals.

Füchse Berlin now lead Group A with six points, while GOG lie second on four points.
