First decision for EHF Executive Committee

The EHF Executive Committee has reached its first decisions just hours after the completion of the EHF Congress in St. Wolfgang.

Due to EHF regulations and as a result of the outcome of the elections, the EHF Executive Committee was required to nominate a number of gender representatives according to the election results.

Therefore Janka Stasova (SVK) and Ketevan Koberidze (GEO) have been nominated to the Court of Appeal.

Marta Bon (SLO) has been nominated to the Methods Commission.

The Beach Handball Commission will receive one further member, Jelena Rakonjac from Serbia.

The Executive also decided on the nominations for the Women’s Handball Board. It confirmed the nominated person from the Women’s Forum Club Handball, Deja Dola (SLO).

In the absence of stakeholder groups representing the leagues and players in the women’s game, the EHF Executive nominated Narcisa Lecusanu (ROU) to represent the interests of the leagues and Ludmilla Bodnieva (RUS) to represent the players‘ interests.

Additionally, the EHF Executive Committee nominated Predrag Boskovic (MNE), the newly elected EHF Vice President, as the EHF representative on the IHF Council and confirmed the EHF President, Michael Wiederer to the position of IHF Vice President (Europe).
