Right in the middle of becoming a master coach
More than 50 master coaches in the making currently participate in the second module of the EHF's "RINCK" Convention Open Master Coach and Licensing Course in the Polish city of Szczyrk.
The course consists of three modules. The first one took place in Krakow during the Men's EHF EURO 2016, the third one is scheduled to take place during the Women's EHF EURO 2016 in Sweden.
The current module focusses on the science of training, proprioception work and issues of psychology and pedagogy linked with coaching and the training of teams.
The course is jointly organised with the Polish Handball Federation and for all training exercises the coaches can make use of the players of Poland's under-18 national team.
The list of lecturers at the seminar includes, among others, EHF Methods Commission member Peter Kovacs and Rolf Brack, up until recently the head coach of the Swiss national team.
One of Brack's topics is an analysis of the winning performance of Germany at the Men's EHF EURO 2016.
