Groups for Men's 20 EHF EURO 2016 drawn in Dubrovnik

On the occasion of the Secretaries General Conference in Dubrovnik, the fina tournament groups for this summer's Men's 20 EHF EURO 2016 were drawn.

France, who won the Men's 18 EHF EURO 2014 as well as the Youth World Championship 2015, were drawn to Group A where they will face Switzerland, Serbia and Poland..

Group B is a particularly strong one as it features Spain, the bronze medallists of the Men's 18 EHF EURO 2014, as well as Iceland and Slovenia, the teams ranked third and second respectively, at last year's Men's Youth World Championship in Russia.

Hosts Denmark are in Group C where they will face Norway Netherlands and FYR Macedonia, while Hungary, the silver medallists of the Men's 18 EHF EURO 2014, will meet Germany, Croatia and Sweden.

Germany won the Men's 20 EHF EURO 2014.

The first two teams of each group will qualify for the main round.

The Men's 20 EHF EURO takes place from 28 July to 7 August 2016. Kolding and Vamdrup are the host cities.
