Susnja and Kamyshyk cleared to play in the Last 16

The Court of Handball has released two decisions following two distinct disciplinary proceedings open respectively against Leon Susnja (HC PPD Zagreb) and Dzmitry Kamyshyk (HC Meshkov Brest).

The players received a direct disqualifications in the previous round of the VELUX EHF Champions League. While Susnja was shown a red card in the THW Kiel (GER) vs. HC PPD Zagreb (CRO), Kamyshyk was directly disqualified in the second leg of the knockout match HC Meshkov Brest (BLR) vs. Skjern Handbold (DEN).

In both cases, the Court of Handball decided that no sanction beyond the direct disqualification shall be imposed on the players, which means they are both cleared to play in the upcoming first leg matches of the Last 16. Susnja with Zagreb will receive Rhein-Neckar Löwen in the Match of the Week on Saturday, while Kamyshyk with Brest take on Vive Tauron Kielce, also on Saturday.
