Hosts named for younger age category qualification tournaments

Following the deadline of application for the organisation and after having respected the order of the organisation rights, the European Handball Federation has awarded the qualification tournaments for the Men's 20 EHF EURO 2016 and the Women's Junior World Championship 2016.

In the Men's 20 EHF EURO 2016 Qualification played from 8 to 10 April 2016

  • Lithuania will host Group 1 with Germany, Russia, Kosovo and Lithuania
  • Switzerland will host Group 2 with Switzerland, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro and Faroe Islands
  • Poland will host Group 3 with Poland, Iceland, Italy, Bulgaria
  • Bosnia-Herzegovina will host Group 4 with Sweden, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Norway
  • Slovakia will host Group 5 with Croatia, Slovakia, Finland and Ukraine
  • Georgia will host Group 6 with Serbia, Georgia, Israel and Greece
  • Czech Republic will host 7 with Czech Republic, Netherlands, Austria and Turkey
  • Portugal will host Group 8 with Romania, Estonia, Slovenia and Portugal

In the Women's Junior World Championship played from 18 to 20 March 2016

  • The organiser for Group 1 with Norway, Croatia, Greece, Switzerland is yet to be determined
  • Czech Republic will host Group 2 with Germany, Lithuania, Czech Republic and Bulgaria
  • Iceland will host Group 3 with Hungary, Belarus, Austria and Iceland
  • Serbia will host Group 4 with Serbia, Portugal, Netherlands and Bosnia-Herzegovina
  • France will host Group 5 with France, FYR Macedonia, Slovenia and Israel
  • Poland will host Group 6 with Spain, Turkey, Slovakia and Poland
  • Montenegro will host Group 7 with Montenegro, Ukraine and Georgia
