Issy face Podravka, while Holstebro clash with Hypo in the Cup Winners' Cup Last 16
All four teams from the Women's EHF Champions League Group Matches, who joined the Cup Winners' Cup Last 16, will start their mission in a new competition on away courts after the draw in the EHF Office in Vienna has determined all eight pairings of the next stage.
The draw was conducted by Women Forum Club Handball vice-presidents Kay-Sven Hähner and Gordana Naceva.
The first leg is scheduled for 9/10 January and the second leg will follow one week later.
The record EHF Champions League winners Hypo Niederösterreich will travel to Denmark to take on Team Tvis Holstebro, the 2013 and 2015 Women's EHF Cup winners.
The two-time winners of the European top flight RK Krim Mercator will face Romania's SC Municipal Craiova, while 1996 EHF Champions League winners HC Podravka Vegeta from Croatia will be put under a stern test by the French side Issy Paris Hand.
The Polish champions MKS Selgros Lublin will make a trip to Norway to take on Vipers Kristiansand.
Norway will be also a destination for a triple Champions League winners HK Viborg who will meet Glassverket. The local runners-up were eliminated in the Champions League qualification earlier in the season as were the Dutch champions SERCODAK Dalfsen, who will lock horns with Érd HC from Hungary.
Zvezda Zvenigorod, the 2008 winners of the most prestigious continental club competition, will play against another Champions League unsuccessful qualifier Ankara Yenimahalle BSK, while another Russian-Turkish pairing consists of HC Lada and Ardesen GSK.
The Women's Cup Winners' Cup will merge with the Women's EHF Cup after the 2015/16 season.
