AC Kiplokes 2012 fined

The EHF Court of Handball has made a decision in the case concerning Greek beach handball club AC Kiplokes 2012. The club withdrew from the 2015 EHF Beach Handball Champions Cup.

The club withdrew on 22 September 2015 after their registration had been confirmed on 1 September 2015.

AC Kiplokes 2012 is hence fined €5.000 for withdrawing from the 2015 EHF Beach Handball Champions Cup in accordance with Article C.2 of the EHF List of Penalties and shall pay the registration fee amounting to €200.

Part of the fine, i.e. €2.000 is imposed on a suspended basis with a probation period of one year since the Court of Handball found mitigating circumstances (unavailability of players beyond the club’s control).

The club has the right to appeal to the Court of Appeal within seven days.
