Two draws to take place at Bucharest Congress

The qualification draws for the Men's 20 EHF EURO 2016 and the Women's Junior World Championship 2016 will take place on 14 November 2015 in Bucharest alongside the EHF's Extraordinary Congress in the Romanian capital that same weekend.

The 32 teams participating in the race for the Men's 20 EHF EURO 2016 in Denmark have been seeded in the following pots:

Pot 1: Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, Poland

Pot 2: Iceland, Croatia, Belarus, Russia, Serbia, Czech Republic, FYR Macedonia, Romania

Pot 3: Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine.

They will be drawn into eight groups of four, with two teams qualifying from Groups 1 to 4 and one team from Groups 5 to 8.

Tournament hosts Denmark as well as France, Hungary and Spain, the teams ranked first to third at the Men's 18 EHF EURO 2014 are already seeded for the 16-nation championship next year.

The qualification tournaments will be played from 8 to 10 April 2016. The Men's 20 EHF EURO 2016 takes place from 28 July to 7 August in Denmark.

27 European nations vie for spot at Women's Junior World Championship

The Women's Junior World Championship 2016 takes place in Russia and 27 European nations hope to score one of the eight available places at the 24-nation tournament.

Russia as hosts as well as Denmark, Romania and Sweden are already qualified which will bring the tally of European team eventually up to 12.

The 27 participants have been seeded into the following pots:

Pot 1: Hungary, Germany, Norway

Pot 2: Montenegro, Spain, France, Serbia

Pot 3: Croatia, Belarus, Portugal, FYR Macedonia,

Pot 4: Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, Netherlands, Slovenia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine

Pot 5: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Poland, Switzerland

These teams will be drawn to six groups of four teams and one group of three teams. Two teams qualify from Group 1, only one team each qualifies from Groups 2 to 7.

The qualification tournaments are played from 18 to 20 March, the World Championship takes place from 3 to 17 July.
