Senior handball players from all over Europe gather in Nice for the start of the handball event
European Masters Games' handball tournament throws off
From 1 to 11 October, Nice (France) hosts the 3rd European Masters Games.
The European Masters Games is an event which encompasses 27 summer-sport disciplines, and is held every four years.
The age categories vary depending on the sport but the competition is generally for people 30–35 years or older.
A handball tournament is also part of the event from 2 until 4 October. There are three age categories for men (35+, 45+ and 50+) and two for women (33+ and 43+).
