Further tickets for Men’s EHF EURO 2016 now available

12:00 midday (CET time) on 1 October marks the start of the next phase of ticket distribution ahead of the Men’s EHF EURO 2016 in Poland. Tickets for all the matches in all venues will be made available. In total 20,000 tickets will be released for handball fans all over Europe.

Tickets for the Polish national team matches will begin at 25 euro while other matches in the Spodek (Katowice), ERGO ARENA (Gdansk) and Centennial Hall (Wroclaw) start from 10 euro.

“Ticket sales for the EHF EURO 2016 are gaining momentum with huge interest coming from all 14 participating countries and beyond. Demand is expected to increase greatly in the coming weeks,” commented vice-president of the Polish Handball Federation (ZPRP) and chairman of the EHF EURO 2016 organising committee Marcin Herra.  

Tickets for the Men's EHF EURO 2016 can be purchased through the official website pol2016.ehf-euro.com. The official ticket partner for the event is ebilet.pl. Handball fans are limited to six tickets per person.

The Men’s EHF EURO 2016 will be held from 15 to 31 January in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow and Wroclaw.

16 teams will take part and these teams are divided into four groups:

Group A (Krakow) - Poland, France, Serbia and FYR Macedonia

Group B (Katowice) - Croatia, Iceland, Belarus and Norway

Group C (Wroclaw) - Germany, Spain, Sweden and Slovenia

Group D (Gdansk) - Denmark, Hungary, Russia and Montenegro

The Poland Handball Federation has also announced that tickets to the International Handball Tournament (test tournament), to be held on the 7 and 8 Novemeber in ERGO ARENA in Gdansk, can be purchased through www.ebilet.pl. The tickets are divided into five price categories with the cheapest starting from five euro (19 zł). Poland will go up against Spain, Sweden and Russia in this warm-up event.
