Playing dates of over 60 games set

Exactly 112 days after FC Barcelona players lifted the VELUX EHF Champions League trophy in the LANXESS arena, their title defence will begin.

The defending champions will take the floor in Mannheim, Germany on 20 September to face Rhein-Neckar Löwen in the first round of the upcoming season. The exact time of the opening throw-off will be confirmed in due time.

Following negotiations with the right-holding TV stations the EHF and EHF Marketing GmbH have already confirmed the playing dates and times of majority games in the first six playing rounds in all four groups. All matches in the new season will be shown live on ehfTV.com.
