Russia and Denmark meet in W19 EHF EURO final

The Women's 19 EHF EURO champions from 2013, Russia, will get the chance to defend the title they won in championship Denmark two years ago following a clear win against the Hungarians 28:17 in the semi-finals.

They will meet the team from Denmark, who they beat in the Main Round 25:22.

The Danes were also in dominant mood in the semis defeating their neighbours, and winners of the W17 EHF EURO title in Poland in 2013, Sweden 28:20.

The final will be played on Sunday in Valencia’s Pabellon Uni sports hall at 12:30 hrs local time.

On Saturday placement matches will be played to decide the final standings for teams placed 16 through to fifth.

Hungary play Sweden in the bronze medal match on Sunday at 10:00 hrs.
