Beach handball joins forces with European Fair Play Movement

It is strong fair play message that European beach handball sends out at the upcoming European Beach Handball Championships as it joins forces with the European Fair Play Movement.

Fair play has always been an integral part of beach handball, and this emphasis is now even further underlined as beach handball within the EHF and the EFPM spread the message of fair play.

On the occasion of the final day (5 July) of the upcoming European Beach Handball Championships, Hungarian band MDC (pictured right) will perform the new official Fair Play Song at the medal ceremony as well as at the player's party.

The song at the same time becomes the official song for the EHF’s beach handball events.

The full song will be available shortly after 5 July. The corresponding video clip was directed by Jimy J. Hollywood.

The EFPM is a non-governmental association was founded in 1994. Its main aim is to promote Fair Play and Tolerance in the broadest sense (in sports and everyday life) at European level.

The EFPM seeks to achieve this goal by supporting its members, by helping to promate Fair Play campaigns where sports organisations take the initiative, by cooperating with the authorities to foster Fair Play themes and by faciliating regular contacts between the various European sports organisations.
