EHF EURO 2014 finalists meet again at World Championship Group Phase

Spain's chance take revenge for the defeat to Norway in the Women's EHF EURO 2014 Final will already come in the group phase of the World Championship 2015, as both teams were drawn to Group D on Wednesday night in Kolding.

Overall there will be 13 European teams competing at the 24-nation final tournament which will take place from 5 to 20 December 2015 in Denmark.

The following teams face in the group phase.

Group A: Denmark, Montenegro, Hungary, Japan, Tunisia, Serbia

Group B: Cuba, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland, China, Angola

Group C: Brazil, France, Argentina, Korea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Germany

Group D: Norway, Spain, Romania, Russia, Puerto Rico, Kazakhstan

The first four teams of each group qualify for the Last 16. The four hosting cities are Herning (Group A), Naestved (Group B), Kolding (Group C), Frederikshavn (Group D).
