Draw for EHF EURO 2018 play-offs takes place on 23 June

Luxembourg face Finland; Israel play against Romania and Turkey meet Belgium when the EHF EURO 2018 play-offs take place in April 2016.

The three pairings were drawn on Tuesday at the EHF Office in Vienna by EHF Secretary General Michael Wiederer and Martin Hausleitner, Secretary General of the Austrian Handball Federation.

Belgium, Luxembourg and Romania are the three teams that became the group winners in the first phase of the EHF EURO 2018 Qualification.

Finland, Israel and Turkey are the three lowest ranked teams from the EHF EURO 2016 Qualification which has just come to an end.

Whoever wins the play-offs will join the next phase of the EHF EURO 2018 Qualification from which 15 teams will qualify for the final tournament in Croatia.

The home right for the first match lies with Luxembourg, Israel and Turkey. The playing dates for the play-offs are 6/7 April and 9/10 April 2016.
