NEWS REPORT: In Balatonföldvár, Hungary 14 young adults participate in a five-day workshop to become professional handball coaches
14 coaches-to-be meet in Hungary
After last year‘s premiere of the Young Coaches Workshop, the European Handball Federation gives 14 young handball coaches from all over Europe again the chance to extend their coaching and handball know-how.
From 15 to 19 June 2015 the participants – all younger than 28 – will gather in Balatonboglár, Hungary for theoretical as well as practical sessions to improve their coaching skills and get a deeper insight into technical, tactical and psychological aspects of handball coaching.
The seven men and seven women have basic education and experience as coaches already.
Within the five-day workshop they have to prepare two training sessions and present them with the demonstration teams consisting of students of the National Academy of Handball located in Balatonboglár.
The two main EHF lecturers Peter Kovacs and Milan Petronijevic will evaluate these trainings in terms of content and realisation, while mental coach Jürgen Boss will give them feedback on performance, soft skills and communication with the players.
