EHF receives seven requests for additional places in the Women’s EHF Champions League 2015/16

The European Handball Federation has received 27 registrations from clubs for the Women’s EHF Champions League 2015/16.

18 national champions and the two runners-up of the top two nations (Hungary and Denmark) have applied for the 23rd season based on the place distribution ranking, while further seven teams have requested additional places.

The EHF Executive meeting on 19 and 20 June in Krakow, Poland will confirm all participants of the new season (either for the group matches or for qualification).

The draw of the qualification and the group phase will take place on Friday 26 June in Vienna.
