Four awesome shows with a great fan involvement

The VELUX EHF FINAL4 further underlined its status as one of Europe's top sport and entertainment events during its sixth edition.

In addition to four great battles contested by Europe's top four teams, from four different countries, the sold-out crowd were treated to a series of spectacular opening shows.

Fans attending the opening party on Friday had the unique opportunity to add their faces and voices to the pre-match showcase which took place prior to third-place match. Fans were asked to enter the signing booth and belt out the introduction of ‘Seven Nation Army’ oozing their best vocal ability and loudest chant possible.

The enthusiastic and energetic pieces were complied to create a very special fan mosaic and the choir of voices was shown as part of the opening show, projected on the court for spectators inside and outside of the arena to see. A colourful array of singers came from far and wide to contribute their energy and enthusiasm.

The excitement captured and broadcast was matched only by that of the fans who watched from inside and outside the arena,

Having attended the opening show last year, Nils, was looking forward to being on the big screen this year.

He said: “Having your face on the screen is always beautiful and we are having fun here. To be a part of the EHF FINAL4 is always something special. It’s wonderful to see the big players, the legends. Cologne is the best city to host such an event.”
