Legendary Robokeeper returns to Cologne

Title sponsor of the VELUX EHF Champions League, the VELUX Group, is set for a busy weekend in Cologne.

Once again, the company has invited a huge number of guests to enjoy the two day-sports and entertainment event.

A total of 900 VELUX VIPs will make the trip from around the world to Cologne, adding to the 25,000 guests the company has already invited to handball matches across Europe since their sponsorship of Europe’s top competition began in 2010.

Take on handball’s fastest keeper

In the fan zone too, the company will have a strong presence as the, now legendary, Robokeeper makes a welcome return, offering fans the chance to test out their shooting skills against the fastest ‘keeper in the game.

Discover the VELUX Little Sun project situated inside the LANXESS arena and fans will have the chance to share their dreams with others – and if they are lucky – the title sponsor will make these dreams come true.

#SCOREMORE Challenge powered by VELUX

On court too, the VELUX Group will play a big part in the #SCOREMORE Challenge as teams compete to become the ultimate winners of a campaign that saw 90 entries from 21 countries.

Two teams of fans will be selected during the weekend to play off again two ‘all-star’ teams, composed of former players and celebrities, on Saturday before they meet the already qualified finalists from Malta and Iceland.

The winners during the VELUX EHF FINAL4 weekend will win the grand prize of an invitation from VELUX for a VIP weekend at the 2016 event and prizes such as official match balls and merchandise.

Most Valuable Player Award

For the second time, the VELUX Group will also present the weekend’s most valuable player with the MVP Award.

Last season it was THW Kiel's Aron Palmarsson, who won the award for his contribution to his team’s performance over the final two days of the competition.
