Opening Party to be streamed live on ehfTV

Not only will the seven thousand fans expected at the VELUX EHF FINAL4 Opening Party at the LANXESS arena have a chance to experience a unique atmosphere on the eve of the season’s ending tournament as ehfTV will stream the party live to all on Friday 29 May.

The world’s biggest handball streaming platform has been offering a rich menu of VELUX EHF FINAL4 related videos for several weeks already and will release many features and specials alongside the four matches during the weekend.

The Opening Party will start on Friday at 18:00 hrs. Visitors will be present when the participating teams and their fans, the people of Cologne and many stars will gather to celebrate the pinnacle of European club handball.

The programme of events centred on the open-air stage will include the great performance of Brings, the presentation of the teams, a chance to meet favourite handball stars and much more.

The best handball players in the world will chat about the upcoming events, before they meet the fans and sign autographs for about 30 minutes, while hosts Anett Sattler, Edit Szalay and Markus Floth offer a taste of the hot atmosphere in the arena.

The presentation of teams will start with Vive Tauron Kielce at 19:10 folowed by FC Barcelona at 19:20. Before the third team, MKB-MVM Veszprem take the floor on the podium (19:40) the new winners’ trophy will be presented to the fans at 19:30. Last year’s finalists THW Kiel will conclude the session at 19:50.

Fans present at the party can become part of the exciting opening show before the third place match on Sunday, but only if they sing the hit song 'Seven nation army' in the special video stand at the hall’s main entrance. Read more here.
